JUNIOR ATHENIAN FLAG FOOTBALL

Fun-n-Gun flag football. Skill, technique, and excitement. Every athlete is an eligible receiver or QB. This program is held in conjunction with the Crawfordsville High School Football Program and is for students in grades 2nd and 3rd who attend a Crawfordsville School Corporation elementary school or who live within the Crawfordsville City limits. Information sheets will be distributed to Nicholson Elementary school. Register at the CCC beginning Monday, August 18 and no later than Sept 5. All practices and games are held at Crawfordsville High School. Practice dates are Sept. 11 @ 5:00-6:00, 13 @ 9:00- 10:00, 18 @ 5:00 – 6:00. The first game date will be Saturday, Sept 20. From there on out, practices will be held on Thursdays from 5:00-6:00pm with games at 9:00am and 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays for a five week session. (Breakfast served on the last game!) Fee is $20.00 per player. Admission will be $2.00 per adult and free for children. All games are held on the Crawfordsville Varsity Football Field. See you in the Endzone.

NFL GATORADE PUNT PASS & KICK

The NFL Gatorade Punt, Pass & Kick program provides a lively and engaging forum for boys and girls ages 8-15 to compete separately against their peers in punting, passing and place kicking. This local event, assisted by the members of the Wabash football team, will be held at Wabash College on Sunday, September 21, 1:00pm. Winners will be acknowledged at half time of the Wabash football game! Registration forms are available in advance at all city schools as well as at the Crawfordsville Park and Rec. Dept. There is no fee for this event. Divisions are as follows: Girls ages 8/9, 10/11, 12/13, 14/15 and Boys ages 8/9, 10/11, 12/13, 14/15. (Age determined as of Dec. 31 of current year.) The top scorer in all divisions from each local competition will advance to the Sectional competition. (Registration forms also available on site the day of the event.) Only gym shoes will be permitted-No football shoes, cleats or turf shoes are allowed.
