DOGGIE POOL PARTY

Crawfordsville Parks and Recreation Department's 6th Annual pool party for dogs! That's right a pool party, just for your dog. Owners can bring their dogs for this, once a summer, dip... before we drain the pool.

NFL GATORADE PUNT PASS & KICK

The NFL Gatorade Punt, Pass & Kick program provides a lively and engaging forum for boys and girls ages 8-15 to compete separately against their peers in punting, passing and place kicking. This local event, assisted by the members of the Wabash football team, will be held at Wabash College on Sunday, September 21, 1:00pm. Winners will be acknowledged at half time of the Wabash football game! Registration forms are available in advance at all city schools as well as at the Crawfordsville Park and Rec. Dept. There is no fee for this event. Divisions are as follows: Girls ages 8/9, 10/11, 12/13, 14/15 and Boys ages 8/9, 10/11, 12/13, 14/15. (Age determined as of Dec. 31 of current year.) The top scorer in all divisions from each local competition will advance to the Sectional competition. (Registration forms also available on site the day of the event.) Only gym shoes will be permitted-No football shoes, cleats or turf shoes are allowed.

SUGAR CREEK TRAIL THANKSGIVING DAY PIE RUN

The Sugar Creek Trail Thanksgiving Day Pie Run is a family oriented fund raiser for the Sugar Creek Trail. This year's event includes a competitive 5K run, 2 mile fun run and walk and a FREE 200 yard Kid's Run. Random finishers will be awarded pies. All ages and ability levels are encouraged to participate. The START/FINISH line is on the trail at the Rock River Ridge Trailhead. Bring the whole family and help celebrate our wonderful community trail. Strollers and leashed pets are welcome.
